ICT Academy Digital Literacy Assessment & Certification


The Digital India vision promises to transform India into a fully connected knowledge economy offering world class services at the click of a mouse. The vision aims to change the life in rural India by making every citizen a netizen who will be a fully empowered citizen. Inspired by the vision, ICT Academy has been implementing various programs to strengthen and contribute towards success of the Digital India vision.

ICT Academy is the “Assessment and Certification” Partner for PMGDISHA, a scheme by Government of India to impart Digital Literacy to every citizen of the nation.

Assessments available in 12 Languages (along with English)
Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu.

The Assessment and certification will be on the “Appreciation of Digital Literacy”.

Appreciation of Digital Literacy


To make a person digitally literate, so that he/she can operate digital devices (like Tablets, Smart phones etc) send and receive emails & browse Internet for information and undertake digital payment etc.

Certification


ICT Academy being the certification agency of Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan (PMGDISHA), will conduct assessment and certification for Digital Literacy.

Assessment Pattern : The Questions for the assessment would be based on the modules given under “Appreciation of Digital Literacy”. The number of questions would be 25 multiple choice and the time duration for the assessment would be 1 hour.

Who can Get Certified ?


Any citizen of India with low IT Literacy and with minimum 7th standard pass

Must be in the age group of 14 to 60 years
 
 

Should have completed minimum 20 hours training on the “Appreciation of Digital Literacy”

Must have AADHAR Card Number to apply
