Inspiring the Nation

The Government of India has initiated various schemes and programs to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. India’s vision has integrated various ideas and thoughts into a single comprehensive mission so that each of them is seen as part of a larger goal. In the pursuit, the government has adopted various strategies in the areas of women development, empowerment of women through education and awareness generation that enables them to enter the mainstream of an economically developed India.

ICT Academy has been part of strengthening India’s vision. To nourish the vision of India, ICT Academy has come up with an innovative competition called “Digital Beti”. This initiative is exclusively crafted for girl students who could come up with a presentation about various Government Schemes and Developmental Plans.

Must have a valid institutional ID Card

Must be 14 years and above.

* NDLM Digital Literacy Certificate can be obtained from NDLM portal at free of cost.
* NDLM certificate is not mandatory during registration process, anyhow you have to submit the certificate number during final evaluation of the contest.

ONLY GIRL STUDENTS SHOULD APPLY WITH A VALID ATTESTED ID FROM THE INSTITUTION AND NDLM CERTIFICATE

Rules & Guidelines for Presentation

  • The Presentation must be of 10 slides.
  • The presentation must be created in any standard presentation formats (E.g MS Powerpoint, Openoffice, staroffice or  prezi )
  • The presentation can contain images, infographics, cliparts, videos, animations etc., 
  • Each slide should be self-explanatory.
  • The presentation must be made as a narrative to make the feel of being presented in person.
  • Each applicant can make ONE entry only.

EVALUATION CRITERIA

QUALIFYING PRESENTATION
ENTRIES WILL BE SENT TO A PANEL OF JUDGES WITHIN 10 DAYS FROM THE CONTEST CLOSING DATE.
JUDGES WILL EVALUATE
EACH ENTRY INDIVIDUALLY AND PROVIDE SCORES
THE WINNING PRESENTATION WILL BE RETAINED BY ICT ACADEMY THAT WILL BE USED TO PROMOTE THE CONTEST FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR

JUDGING CRITERIA

Spreading awareness on national initiatives through digital empowerment of girls

Judges will evaluate the presentations based on the following criteria:

  • TOPIC AND TITLE ADHERENCE TO THE CONTEST PURPOSE

  • PRESENCE OF ALL ELEMENTS OF CONTENT (INTRODUCTION, BODY AND CONCLUSION)

  • IMAGE AND VISUAL QUALITY (INCLUDING LAYOUT)

  • ACCURACY OF INFORMATION PRESENTED

  • SPELLING AND GRAMMAR (INCLUDING TEXT ON THE NOTES PAGES)

  • FOLLOWS ALL RULES OUTLINED IN RULES/PROCEDURES
