Entrepreneurial Development Training for SC/ST students of rural Karnataka
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector has emerged as a highly vibrant and dynamic sector of the Indian economy over the last six decades. MSMEs not only play crucial role in providing large employment opportunities at comparatively lower capital cost than large industries but also help in industrialization of rural & backward areas, thereby, reducing regional imbalances, assuring more equitable distribution of national income and wealth.
The Aim of MSME is to Impart greater vitality and growth impetus to the small, tiny and village enterprises, in terms of output, employment, exports and installing a competitive culture based on heightenedtechno- managerial awareness.
To popularize entrepreneurship among our youth & to motivate them to adopt it as their carrier than searching for employment.
MSME in association with ICT Academy in order to inculcate the concept of Entrepreneurship amongst the youth of rural Karnataka has taken the initiative to train 200 SC/St Students in districts like Gadag, Bagalkote, Bidar and Belagavi.
The training is for the SC/SCC/ST graduating students to promote the concept of Entrepreneurship and generate employment opportunities in the rural parts of the state.
Focus is given to the rural districts of Karnataka - Gadag, Bidar, Bagalkote and Belagavi.
