Tamil Nadu Student Innovator Award 2017 presented an opportunity for students to showcase their innovative projects state-wide and provides an environment to nurture their invention by discussing with the experts. Tamil Nadu Student Innovator Award 2017 invited projects in the branches of Computer Science & Information Technology, Civil & Architecture, Mechanical & Automobile and Electrical & Electronics. We have received 1421 projects from students all over Tamil Nadu. The initial screening was based on the individual project abstract submitted by the students through online application and the jury panel selected Top 12 projects from each category as the finalists of SIA 2017. The top 12 shortlisted projects from each stream made presentation/demonstration in the front of industry jury members at KCG college of Technology, Chennai. Among the top 12 projects, top 3 from each category were selected by industry jury members. The winners were awarded at Bridge 2017 Coimbatore which happened on 13th Sep 2017.
