The 19th Edition of ICTACT Bridge was conducted on 17 Feb 2015 at Chennai Trade Centre.

The theme of this edition is “The BIG Digital World” which focused on all generations of the digital era to discuss, iterate and plan for the future digital world. The conference had an exclusive expert sessions on Digital Leadership, Digital Technologies, Digital Business and Digital Skills for future. The conference had triggered the importance of “Digital India” vision of our Nation and injected the vigor into the nation’s vision through the launch of its ICTACT DIGITAL INDIA PLEDGE 2015. This unique initiative aims at pooling the strengths of institutions and corporate in developing digital literate citizens, thereby contributing to the success of Nation’s Digital India Vision. More than 250 industries / institutions head have signed the Digital India Pledge banner in the event.

The Conference brought three exclusive sessions for specific stakeholders on invitation. The sessions include ICTACT Chairman Convergence 2015, ICTACT Women Edupreneurs Forum 2015 and ICTACT HR Convergence.

The inaugural session of the Bridge conference was presided by Mr. Lakshmi Narayanan, Vice Chairman, Cognizant Technology Solutions; Mr. Ravi Viswanathan, President - Growth Markets, Tata Consultancy Services; Thiru. TK Ramachandran IAS, Secretary - Information Technology, Government of Tamil Nadu; Dr. M. Rajaram, Vice Chancellor, Anna University, Chennai; Mr. Manikam Ramaswami, Chairman & Managing Director, Loyal Textiles Group and Dr. N. Kamakodi, MD & CEO, City Union Bank.

Followed by the inaugural session Shri Mervin Alexendar I.Po.S, Post Master General, Chennai City Region, Department of Posts, Govt of India released “Special Postal Cover with Special Cancellation of ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu”.

ICTACT journals were also a major part of the Bridge conference, where we unveiled two new journals namely “Microelectronics” and “Management Studies”.

“ICTACT Chairman’s Convergence 2015 guided together the Chairmen and Leaders of Educational Institutions in the state. The theme of this session was “Winning Leadership”. The session had a feature visionary leaders discussing with academic leaders of the state on leadership strategies for the emerging new world.

ICTACT Bridge also celebrated the diversity in Women Leadership emerging in the education sector in Tamil Nadu. This Women Edupreneurs Forum 2015 connected women leaders in education and recognized their power to go beyond horizons in the education industry. The moderator and speakers of Chairmans convergence and Women edupreneurs session are Mr. K. ICTACT HR Convergence was also an exclusive session for HR and talent managers in corporate. The theme of the session was Engage - Enable - Digitize -The Digital Workforce. There is a need to engage, enable and energize the digital workforce. This session has become the priority for the HR and Talent Managers in the corporate. ICTACT HR Managers’ Convergence 2015 accompanied together HR & Talent Development Managers to discuss on the challenges and best practices in dealing “The Digital Workforce”.

There were four interesting sessions of the Bridge conference which was also know as knowledge gaining session.
