As part of ongoing initiative, ICT Academy has planned to host the expert-led seminar series dedicated to current and emerging topics across domains. In today’s world, the globalization of national economies, penetration of Information and communication technologies, convergence of markets and sectors has impacted all the industries. Students of present day must understand how they are structured, functioning, how they change and get affected by both technology and regulation.

POWER SEMINAR is a series of half- day seminar, featuring multiple tracks with noted speakers offered at several locations on highly technical issues or to teach the fundamentals of a specific application to pre-final / final year engineering / Arts & Science graduate students across the Tamil Nadu. At each seminar, expert speakers will give an informal talk about the research cum latest development happening in the field, which has direct cum indirect impact on the business. This will be followed by activities of questions/suggestions/brainstorming.

The seminar has a sole objective of igniting their minds which leads to some interesting cross-disciplinary thoughts and get some new ideas and directions about their research and also on the life skills. It also enhances the essential academic skills, develop and utilize critical thinking skills which are considered necessary for academic success. The “POWER SEMINAR” covers broad range of topics across verticals.


The seminar is an exclusive event for invited and qualified participants (Students & Faculty members) only. The seminar has four technical sessions each with 45 minutes duration during which expert speakers from Industry / Government Bodies/ Research institutions deliver concepts on the contemporary technologies to colleges students. More precisely, the seminar is structured into 4 technical sessions preceded by an Inaugural session.
