The Honorable Chief Minister's Vision 2023 envisages Tamil Nadu as the innovation hub and knowledge capital of India on the strength of world class institutions in various fields and best human talent by creating readily employable resources with skills in demand in the industry , announced in the Budget Session to train 10,000 Graduating Students in the IT & ITES Sector through ICT Academy. The initiative is to train the rural students in the latest skills in technology which is in demand in the Industry. ICT Academy designed the courses taking into consideration the latest employability trends in the IT & ITES Sector. The courses are developed with inputs and guidance on the content from the Industry, thereby making it an industry driven content. The initiative is to benefit 10000 rural Engineering, Arts & Science students of the Government and Private Institutions.

The training is for the final year graduating students of the Engineering and Science discipline of the Government and Private Institutions. The target is to give more importance to the Institutions from rural and urban Tamil Nadu. Preference will be given to SC/ST/BC/OBC and women candidates.
Employment Readiness Skill Development Program for Graduating Students
Final Year Under Graduate Students of Engineering and Arts and Science in Computer Science/Application discipline.
Students who have the willingness to attend the 150 Hours training program
Students who have no standing arrears till the previous semester.
Must have 50%
aggregate marks in
the past semesters.
Must be holding an Aadhaar Card.
