About the Program

The Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Govt. of India in association with ICT Academy , is taken up a “National Level Youth Entrepreneurship Development” initiative aimed at identifying and training young graduating students in colleges across the country on “Entrepreneurship”, thereby helping them pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. The Program will be implemented in select 12 states across the country through the NSS Officers of colleges.

In each state around 25 NSS officers from 25 institutions shall be trained for benefitting 40 students in each institution, thereby benefitting 12,000 students across the country.

Entrepreneurship Training to NSS Officers - Proposed Dates & Schedules

Students Training

• Each participating institution shall select 40 students who are keen on pursuing Entrepreneurship.
• The NSS officer who is trained and certified shall deliver the 30 hours Entrepreneurship Program to these 40 students.
• The Course materials for 40 students will be provided.
• A nominal honororium will be provided to the NSS officer on completion of the delivering the course and assessments of students.
• The students shall be invited to submit a business plan based on their entrepreneurial ideas, from which the NSS officer will select the best 10 proposals and nominate them for the State / National Level awards and recognitions.

Awards & Recognition

The graduating students trained by the NSS Officers will be invited to submit business plan post the training and assessment. The NSS Officer shall identify the best 10 business plans and nominate for the state level and national level competition. The Top 3 business plans in state level and national level will be recognized and awarded.
