Empowering human capital through Skill Development is essential towards developing the country's economy
Creating a livelihood for the youth through job creation or self-employment is the critical need of the hour. Empowering human capital through Skill Development is essential towards developing the country's economy. India is currently facing a huge socio-demographic challenge given that majority of its population is in the working age with limited or no skills.
Hexaware Technologies has launched this unique initiative of extending its Campus Connect Program to rural students of India to get skilled with some of the skills required for the IT Industry. This project is implemented by ICT Academy. This program is expected to bridge the skill gap between industry and academia thereby increasing employability, and help creating a sustainable talent pool for IT/ITeS sector. The program will benefit the final year graduating students in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, New Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, thereby making them employable in IT Industry.

Through its various initiatives, ICT Academy has been part of strengthening the India’s four important visions on Skill India, Digital India, Startup India and Make in India.
