ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu through its partnership with EMC Corporation has been providing advanced technology programs in the areas of Storage, Cloud and Big Data for the faculty members and students in the state of Tamil Nadu. Now ICTACT joins VMware, a group company of EMC to provide high end technology knowledge to the faculty and students in the state. To start with, ICTACT has facilitated 25 of its member colleges in Chennai region to be part of VMware IT Academy program. These member colleges will get access to the advanced technology programs of VMWare through ICTACT.

Mr Dave Nelson , Global Director of VMWare IT Academy visited ICT Academy, Chennai and addressed the HOD(s) and Deans of ICTACT Member Institutions from Chennai Region and offered an invitation for the first 25 institutions to join VMWare IT academy. This will be a non commercial initiative from VMWare and the program is facilitated by ICTACT. Mr.Rajesh Nambiar, Program Manager of EMC Corporation spoke about the advanced technology programs of VMWare and its benefits to teachers and students in the state. Mr.M.Sivakumar, CEO ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu and Mr B Anbuthambi Vice President ICTACT thanked VMware for accepting to provide VMware programs to colleges in Tamil Nadu through ICTACT.
