ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu(ICTACT) has been nominated as Regional VMware IT Academy for India and will be responsible for implementation of VMware IT Academy program across higher educational institutions. By instituting this program by ICTACT, VMware seeks to create a collaborative relationship with academic institutions whereby their students may obtain the VMware Certified Associate, Professional and Advanced Professional which could enable employment in firms seeking skilled workers in virtualization and cloud computing.

ICTACT - VMware IT Academy was officially inaugurated at ICTACT Bridge 2015 Madurai conference at Hotel Fortune Pandiyan, Madurai on 28th October 2015.
