Overview

This course empowers engineering students from all disciplines to build embedded systems, whether it is for the next-generation solar car or for autonomous vehicles. This comprehensive course on embedded systems uses FPGAs, DSPs, MPUs, or any 32-bit microprocessors.

Course Objective

Upon successful completion of the course, participants should be able to:

  • Design embedded systems using field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs),
  • Design embedded systems using Digital Signal Processors (DSPs), or any 32-bit microprocessors custom design microcontroller programming
  • Prototype using hardware evaluation platforms based on ARM7
